Unfortunately, while I was finally finding happiness and starting a family, many of my favorite people on DeviantART were getting banned or getting gone. The current caveats to new submissions have me wondering if I'll have any right to legally publish my own work should I put it up here for critique and commentary, and as a professional I can't take that risk.
I will continue to put up social commentary pieces, but I will no longer put up any poems, which I do hope to find literary homes for someday. I'm sorry to those who enjoyed reading them, but I must consider both my income and my career. I'm going through the slow--and rather painful--process of removing such submissions from my gallery. I look forward to reading others', and I will continue to check in at DeviantART. I think it's a wonderful idea, marred only by the business aspects writers must mind themselves.
